Marlin 795 discontinued

211 Posts. #24 · May 26, 2023. I've had a Mod. 795 for 15 years. It was inexpensive (w/ Marlin rebate it was $100), accurate, and reliable. I think the trigger group is a little flimsy, but, that being said, I've only had one easily fixable problem.

If it's peened (a little dent there) the back of the case can bend and not compress the clay-like medium which is used as a primer.
